Capabilities
The process of producing a printed circuit board moves from design through production. Reflow LLC offers a range of electronic circuit services fitting multiple parts of the printed circuit board development and production process. In some cases, you may want Reflow LLC to provide several of these services; in other cases, you may want Reflow LLC to provide just one service.
- Consultation. We will consult with you on your electronic ideas, to help you bring your idea to an electronic reality. We can give you information based on our experience, knowledge, and skills, to help you make reasonable estimates of design difficulty, manufacturing difficulty, production costs, and time.
- Custom circuit design. We can design circuits “from scratch”, based on your specifications.
- Printed circuit board layout. We will layout printed circuit boards for you based on either your finished schematic that we’ve developed for you or with you.
- Electronic component selection. Reflow will work with you to choose quality and affordable electronic components for your printed circuit boards. The result will be a Bill Of Materials (BOM) spreadsheet, ready to upload to a component supply house.
- Printed circuit board assembly. We will install and solder electronic components onto:
- printed circuit boards provided by you, or
- printed circuit boards custom-designed by us for you
- Post-Assembly Testing. Post-testing can sometimes be done by the assembly house, but most of the time testing of a printed circuit board depends on multiple factors that can be difficult to quantify, such as:
- connecting it with other known-good circuit boards,
- loading certain components with test data,
- loading certain components with firmware,
- connecting external hardware,
- sequencing the application of multiple power sources,
- apply specific signals (sources to the board under test),
- applying specific loads to circuits,
- making measurements with specialized test equipment, and
- many others.
If you wish, Reflow LLC will consult with you to determine if, or to what degree, post-assembly testing might be possible and practical for Reflow LLC to do for you.
- PCB Assembly using Surface Mount Devices (MDs) and Through Hole (TH) components and Surface Mount Devices (SMDs) size “0201” or larger
- Circuit design
- Reflow soldering (no wave soldering)
- PCB layout
- Hand Soldering if required
- Component selection
- We can install Ball Grid Array (BGA) parts but cannot (yet) do X-ray or other advanced inspection of BGA parts
- Post-Assembly Testing
